Sec 94-180 Planned Unit Development
Whenever a subdivision is developed as a planned unit development under the appropriate provisions of the zoning regulations, wherein adequate park or recreation area is provided, through traffic is cared for adequately and the majority of the minor streets are of the cul-de-sac or loop type, the Planning Commission may vary the design requirements of these regulations in order to allow the subdivider more freedom in the arrangement of streets and lots, but at the same time protect the convenience, health, safety, and welfare of the entire community. However, in no case shall the overall density, intensity of use, or land area coverage for the planned unit development exceed those minimums established in the zoning regulations under the provision of the R-6, planned residential development district, or the C-4, planned commercial district.
