A. A Municipal Judge shall receive a salary prescribed by the Council.
B. An alternate or acting judge shall be paid an amount not to exceed the amount currently established for the Municipal Judge, or ten dollars ($10.00) per day of duty. Any amount paid to the alternate or acting judge shall, at the discretion of the City Council, be deducted from the salary which would have been due to the judge who failed or was unable to perform his duties as judge.
