The City Clerk shall keep a plat of the City cemetery showing the lots and blocks by number. He is hereby authorized to make sales of the lots for the purpose of interment, upon payment of the fees established for the same including the number thereof, as laid down in the plat. In case of sale, he shall draw a deed showing the description of the lot, the price or consideration, and the name of the purchaser and shall present the same to the Mayor for his signature. The City Clerk shall countersign the deed, under the seal of the City. He shall keep a complete record of all lots and blocks in the cemetery showing whether sold or not, to whom sold and the date of the sale.
