It is unlawful for any person, firm, corporation, partnership, or individual to move or cause to be moved on the streets or alleys of the City any house or building, or part thereof, without having first obtained a permit as required by law, and having first obtained from the Building Official a permit therefor as required in this article and a building permit as required in the City's building code. In addition to the requirements for a building permit, the applicant for a City building moving permit shall pay the City Clerk a fee set by resolution of the City Council for each such permit and shall deposit with the City Clerk a good and sufficient bond as required in this article.
