The latest edition of the National Electrical Safety Code, published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Inc., three (3) copies of which are on file in the Office of the City Clerk, is adopted as the code of the City for the practical safeguarding of persons during the installation, operation, or maintenance of overhead and underground supply and communication lines and their associated equipment.
