Sec 98-100 General Powers of the Clerk

In addition to all other powers granted to the Clerk, the Clerk is hereby authorized and empowered:

   A.   To make, adopt and amend rules and regulations appropriate for the carrying out of this article;

   B.   To extend, for good cause shown, the time for filing a return for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days; and for good cause shown waive, remit, or reduce penalties or interest;

   C.   To delegate his or her functions hereunder to an assistant or other employee or employees of the City of Purcell;

   D.   To assess, reassess, determine, revise and readjust the taxes imposed by this Article; and

   E.   To prescribe methods for determining taxable and nontaxable rents.
