A. All operators of Retail Marijuana Establishments are required to obtain a Retail Marijuana Establishment business license from the City Clerk.
B. The Retail Marijuana Establishment License fee shall be Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per year, or as periodically modified by Council resolution. The fee shall be used to offset municipal expenses covering costs related to licensing, inspection, administration and enforcement of retail marijuana establishments. The license provided for herein shall run from July 1 to June 30 and the same will not be prorated for any license obtained after July 1 of any year.
C. A Retail Marijuana Establishment License will not be granted to any applicant where the proposed location is located outside a commercially or industrially zoned area of the corporate city limits of Purcell, or within a restricted area as hereinafter set forth.
