Sec 122-536 Purpose

This overlay district provides special regulations designed to reduce flood losses in those areas of the floodplain, outside of the floodway, which are subject to periodic flooding and therefore require special consideration before development is permitted to occur. The requirements of this overlay district are in addition to the requirements contained in the basic, underlying zoning districts.
