Sec 122-507 Permitted Principal Uses
The following uses having a low flood damage potential and not obstructing flood flows shall be permitted within the F-1, floodway district to the extent that they are not prohibited by any other regulations, and provided that they do not require structures, fill, or storage of materials or equipment.
No use shall adversely affect the capacity of the channels or floodways of any tributary to the main stream, drainage ditch, or any other drainage facility or system, nor shall it be detrimental to uses permitted in the adjoining F-2, floodway fringe (overlay) district, or other districts within the F-2, floodway fringe (overlay) district:
   A.   Agricultural uses, such as:
      1.   General farming;
      2.   Pasture;
      3.   Grazing;
      4.   Outdoor plant nurseries;
      5.   Horticulture;
      6.   Truck farming;
      7.   Forestry;
      8.   Sod farming; or
      9.   Wild crop harvesting;
   B.   The keeping of agricultural livestock, in accordance with other City ordinances relating thereto;
   C.   Public or private recreational uses or uses similar in nature, such as:
      1.   Golf courses;
      2.   Tennis courts;
      3.   Archery ranges;
      4.   Picnic grounds;
      5.   Boat launching ramps;
      6.   Swimming areas;
      7.   Parks;
      8.   Wildlife and nature preserves;
      9.   Game farms;
      10.   Fish hatcheries;
      11.   Shooting preserves;
         a.   Target ranges;
      12.   Reserved.
      13.   Hunting and fishing areas; and
      14.   Walking and riding trails;
   D.   Public or private open spaces;
   E.   Residential lawns, gardens, parking, and play areas; and
   F.   Docks, piers and other water-related uses.
