5-2-22: FINES AND COSTS:
   A.   Fees: If judgment of conviction is entered, the clerk of the court shall tax the cost to the defendant, which shall be in the amount of thirty dollars ($30.00) for each case filed, plus all statutory fees required to be collected, plus the fees and mileage of witnesses and jurors, and a ten dollar ($10.00) fee of which will be deposited in an account for the use of police training and capital outlay less all remittances required by law but the total amount of the fine may not exceed the amount set forth in section 1-4-1 of this code and up to thirty (30) days in jail. (See appendix A of this code.)
   B.   Debt Collection: Clerk of the court seeking to collect a debt, unpaid fines and costs of final judgment of at least fifty dollars ($50.00) from an individual who has filed a state income tax return may file a claim with the Oklahoma tax commission requesting that the amount owed to the agency (city of Pryor Creek municipal court) be deducted from any state income tax refund due to that individual. Pursuant to 68 Oklahoma Statutes section 205.1, 2001, as amended by section 1, chapter 135, OSL 2007 1 .
   C.   Payment Of Jail Cost By Inmate: Pursuant to 22 Oklahoma Statutes section 979A any person confined to the city of Pryor Creek jail for any offense shall be required to pay the city of Pryor Creek twenty two dollars ($22.00) per day. (See appendix A of this code.) The cost of incarceration shall be collected by the city of Pryor Creek court clerk in addition to the fines and costs. With one-half (1/2) to be deposited in the training and capital improvement fund for Pryor Creek police department. (Ord. 2009-7, 10-20-2009)
