A. Misdemeanor Fine, Imprisonment: Except as otherwise provided by state law, whenever in this code or in any other ordinance of the city an act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or whenever in the code or ordinance the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, or no specific penalty is provided therefor, the violation of any provision of this code shall include a fine of up to two hundred dollars ($200.00) for all traffic related offenses related to speeding or parking; and the violation of any other provision of this code or any ordinance, upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00), plus a one hundred fifty dollar ($150.00) administrative fee for all public nuisance abatement or by imprisonment not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day or any portion of a day during which any violation of this code or of any ordinance shall continue shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 2010-2, 1-19-2010)
B. Aid, Abet Or Assist In Violation: Any person who shall aid, abet or assist in the violation of any provision of this code or any other ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished as provided in this section. (1988 Code § 1-108)
