Any person who shall violate any provision of this Title by doing any act prohibited or declared to be unlawful thereby, or declared to be an offense or misdemeanor thereby, or who shall fail to do any act required by any such provision, or who shall fail to do any act when such provision declared such failure to be unlawful or to be an offense or misdemeanor, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable as provided in Section 1-4-1 of this Code. Each day upon which any such violation continues shall constitute a separate misdemeanor. (1988 Code § 9-1001)
