The village board shall have the power to prohibit, in whole or in part, the granting of variations in respect to the classification, regulation, and restriction of the location of uses, trades and industries; the location of buildings designed for specified industrial, business, residential and other uses; and all other variations under the ordinances of the village, including the zoning ordinance, the subdivision ordinance, or the building code.
