The storage, sale, transportation and use of liquefied petroleum gas shall be governed by the Fire Prevention Code and by applicable Village and State of Illinois laws. The Fire Chief of the Village shall have, and is hereby granted, the authority to increase the requirements of said State law where the safety of life or property is endangered by the proposed or actual storage, sale, transportation or use of liquefied petroleum gas.
