All connection and water applied for, and all water used hereunder, shall be upon the express condition that the village shall not be liable, nor shall any claim be made against it for damage or injury caused by reason of the breakage of any main, branches, service pipes, apparatus or appurtenances connected with said water and sewer system or plant, or any part or portion of said plant, for any interruption of the supply by reason of the breakage of machinery or by reason of stoppage, alteration, extension and renewals.
All repairs to service pipes and connections therefrom shall be at the expense of the owner or tenant of the premises supplied, excepting repairs on the section of the pipe included between the corporation cock at the main and the curb cock in the parkway. (1965 Code)
