The Fire Chief or his or her subordinates shall examine the plans of all proposed buildings, except single-family dwellings, and shall pass on all questions relating to the safety of life and property from fire. No permit for such a building shall be issued until such plans are approved by the Chief or his or her subordinate. (Ord. 88-15, 4-12-1988)
