The work period of employment for officers, members, and employees of the police department shall be designated and prescribed by the village president and board of trustees.
Specific duty hours within the work period shall be assigned by the police chief. In addition, all policemen shall be required to report for, and remain on, duty in the event of any emergency upon order by the village president or police chief. (Ord. 77-29, 12-13-1977)
