3-1-26: NOTICE OF RESIGNATION REQUIRED:

No person shall resign any position on the police force except upon fifteen (15) days' notice in writing, given to the chief of police. Any person withdrawing without leave shall thereafter be deemed disqualified to become a member of the department. (1965 Code)
