A. Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any rockets, powder, fireworks or other dangerous, combustible or explosive material in or on any street, lot, grounds or alley, or in or about the vicinity of any building within the City and within one (1) mile of the boundaries thereof; provided, however, that this shall not apply to law enforcement officers charged with enforcement of the law who are in the course and scope of their duties. B. Penalty: Violation of this section shall constitute an infraction subject to penalty as provided in section 1-2-1 of this Code. (Ord. 4-34, 2000; 2008 Code)
