A. Motor Vehicles:
1. Sound Systems: It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a radio, sound system, amplified sound system, loudspeaker system or similar electronic amplification device within, from or attached to a motor vehicle in such a manner as to cause excessive or unusual noise within the city limits.
2. Muffler Required: Every motor vehicle operated within the city limits shall be equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation so as to comply with state law for the prevention of noise, including, but not limited to, Idaho Code section 49-937. B. Other Than Motor Vehicles:
1. Sound Systems: It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a radio, sound system, amplified sound system, loudspeaker system or similar electronic amplification device, other than as set forth in subsection A of this section, in such a manner as to cause excessive or unusual noise within the city limits.
2. Residential Zones: In all zoning districts, the use of property shall not cause excessive or unusual noise for residentially zoned property. (Ord. 4-33, 2000; Ord. 4-33a, 2002)
