3-4-1: PURPOSE:

It is hereby determined and declared to be necessary for and conducive to the protection of the health, safety and welfare of the public and inhabitants of the city to ban, within the city limits, the commercial sale of household cleaning products containing more than a trace level of phosphorus. (Ord. 7-4, 1989)
