A. Prohibited: It is unlawful for any vehicle operator to use compression brakes, also known as "jake brakes", while operating any vehicle on any road or highway within the city limits. (Ord. 4-31, 1999)
B. Penalty: Violation of this section shall be a traffic infraction. The penalty for violation of this chapter shall be that fine set for "other moving traffic infractions" in the payment schedule to be adopted by supreme court order and published annually by the administrative director of the court (Idaho infraction rule 9(5)).
