§ 52.026 PIPES SPECIFICATIONS.
   (A)   All water service pipes from the main to the meter shall be not less than ¾ of an inch in size. Only extra strong lead, extra heavy copper alloy or plastic pipes with continuous copper rod affixed shall be used to connect the meter with the mains. Only approved AWWA pipes tested for 160 pound pressure per six inch pipe or equivalent shall be used. All fittings and connections shall be uniform and comply with the specifications established by the City Council.
   (B)   All service pipes shall be buried at least 4½ feet deep in the ground.
