§ 111.02 PERMIT FOR GARAGE SALES.
   (A)   The owner or lessee of the residential property upon which a garage sale is being conducted shall obtain a garage sale operator's permit from the Building Permit Department at City Hall. The application for the permit shall include the name and address of the applicant, and the date, hours and location of the garage sale. The fee for the permit shall be $5. No fee shall be charged to non-profit groups under the Federal Income Tax Code § 501(c), being 26 U.S.C. § 501(c).
   (B)   The permit must be clearly displayed at the location at all times during the operation of the garage sale. The applicant for a garage sale operator's permit authorized the Building Official of Code Enforcement Officer of the City of Pleasanton to enter the property for purposes of determining that the sale is being conducted in accordance with these regulations. The permit is not transferable to any other person or location other than that stated on the permit.
