§ 111.01 OPERATION OF GARAGE SALES.
   (A)   Any person wishing to sell more than five items of personal property to the public from a residential premises shall be subject to these regulations. An association, charitable or non-profit organization involved in said sale would also be subject to these regulations.
   (B)   Garage sale signs shall be temporary in nature and shall not be exhibited more than three days prior to the sale and removed by the third day after the sale. Signs may only be placed on the operator's private property and may not be attached to utility poles or in public rights-of-way. The person owning or leasing the property on which a garage sale is advertised to be held shall be presumed to have placed and exhibited the sign advertising the garage sale for that address.
   (C)   Garage sales may not exceed three consecutive days and may only operate between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on those days. Each residence is allowed 12 garage sales per calendar year per location, not to exceed one garage sale per month.
