6-2-1: MARKERS; AUTHORITY TO PLACE; OBEDIENCE REQUIRED:
   A.   The chief of police is authorized to place markers or signs within or adjacent to intersections indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning at such intersections, and such course to be traveled may conform to or be other than as prescribed by law or ordinance.
   B.   When authorized markers or other indications are placed within an intersection, indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turning thereat, no driver of a vehicle shall disobey the directions of such indications. Violations of this section shall be a class C misdemeanor and upon conviction, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (1990 Code § 10.08.010; amd. 2003 Code)
