A. Whenever no other penalty is prescribed, any violation of any provision of any ordinance or provision of this code now or hereafter enacted shall be punished as a class B misdemeanor. Such punishment may include a fine not to exceed the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), or imprisonment for a period not longer than six (6) months, or both such fine and imprisonment.
B. All offenses designated as class B misdemeanors shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment for a period not longer than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
C. All offenses designated as class C misdemeanors shall be punishable by a fine in a sum not to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), or by imprisonment for a period not longer than ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
D. All offenses designated as infractions shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed the sum of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00). (Ord. 97-6, 2-18-1997; amd. 2003 Code)
