A. Any interested party may appeal the order of the chief of police by filing a written notice of appeal with the City Clerk within ten days after the order.
B. The appeal shall be heard by the
City Council
which may affirm, amend or reverse the order of the chief of police or take other action deemed appropriate.
C. The clerk shall give written notice of the time and place of the hearing of the appeal to the appellant and those persons specified in subsection B of Section 10.60.070.
D. In conducting the hearing of the appeal, the
City Council
shall not be limited by the technical rules of evidence. (Ord. 502 § 2(part), 1987).
