9.12.040 VIOLATION – PENALTY.
   Every act prohibited or declared unlawful and every failure to perform an act required by this chapter is a misdemeanor. A misdemeanor may be punished by a fine of no more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for no longer than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Any person causing or permitting a violation of this chapter shall be regarded as committing a separate offense on each day that the violation occurs or continues. (Ord. 219 § 4, 1965).
