GENERAL PROVISIONS

§ 74.01 RIDING BICYCLES, MOTOR SCOOTERS, MOTORCYCLES, AND SIMILAR VEHICLES ON SIDEWALKS.

   It shall be unlawful for any person to ride any bicycle, motor scooter, motorcycle, motor-powered cart, motor-powered vehicle, or battery-powered golf cart on any sidewalk in the town.

GOLF CARTS

§ 74.15 AUTHORITY TO REGULATE.

   Pursuant to G.S. § 160A-300.6, the town is authorized, by ordinance, to regulate the operation of golf carts on any public street, road, or highway where the speed limit is 35 mph or less.
