Public sanitary sewers shall be installed to adequately serve all locations, including lateral connections to the public system. Public sewer system extensions shall meet the requirements of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the standards of the Municipality. Every manhole or riser which is open in any way or reaches the surface shall be installed with an approved water infiltration barrier collar. Off-site sanitary sewer extensions may be required to complete a safe drainage system. Such off-site construction may have reimbursement rates associated with it. If approved by the Service Committee of Council, such rates will be set by administrative order on a line by line basis. Combinations of sanitary sewers and storm sewers are prohibited. Hydraulic calculations and a tributary area map shall be submitted along with the construction plans. The subdivider shall extend the public sewer lines to the property line of the development as required by the Engineer. (See Chapters 1046, 1054 and 1056 of these Codified Ordinances.)
