(a) Any sewer installer or individual who installs his or her own sewer shall, at the time of the connection, notify the Manager advising him or her that the connection is ready for inspection.
(b) Within forty-eight hours from the time of the receipt of such notice, the Manager or his or her designee shall make an inspection and approve or disapprove the connection, in writing. If the connection is disapproved, the owner, contractor, builder or any person in charge of such connection shall, within forty-eight hours thereafter, cause the necessary corrections to be made in the work and shall again notify the Manager, who shall authorize the reinspection.
(c) If, upon reinspection, such connection is still found not to be in conformity with Municipal ordinances and regulations, the applicant shall be required to pay an additional fee as set forth in the General Fee Schedule (see Chapter 208 of the Administration Code) for each and every reinspection required. Such fee is to be deposited and paid to the Administrator at the time the application for reinspection is made.
