§ 51.06 CURB BOX; RESPONSIBILITY.
   Once the premises is connected to the water supply system, the curb box is the property of the water supply system and not the property owner. Water line from the premises to the curb box is the property owner’s responsibility for all repairs or replacement cost.

§ 51.07 AVAILABLE DISTANCE TO MAIN.
   The village water supply system shall be deemed AVAILABLE if a water main of the village water supply system is within 300 feet of the nearest portion of the property upon which the building is located.

§ 51.08 FIRE HYDRANTS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to attach a hose to any fire hydrant in the village for the purpose of sprinkling their lawns, washing automobiles or for any purpose whatever.
   (B)   The village also ordains that it shall be unlawful for any person to meddle or tamper with any fire hydrant except in case of a fire and then only by a recognized firefighter.
   (C)   This section shall take effect and be in force 20 days after its adoption.

CHARGES AND RATES
§ 51.20 FISCAL YEAR.
   The system shall be operated upon the basis of a fiscal year beginning on April 1 of each year and ending on March 31 following.

§ 51.21 OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT.
   The operation, maintenance and management of the system shall be under the immediate supervision and control of the Council or of such officer or board as shall be designated or created by the Council and subject to its control.
