§ 73.14 OVERSIZE VEHICLE PARKING.
   (A)   No oversize vehicle shall park on any city street or in any alley, except for the purpose of making deliveries or picking up goods or persons, or construction jobs requiring special trailers.
   (B)   Special trailers or vehicles used when tools or equipment are required for construction, and when parking on site is unavailable, may be parked in residential parking areas provided all rules are obeyed pertaining to parking, such as, blocking access to fire or utility infrastructure, blocking traffic flow, or causing an visual obstruction to vehicles entering streets. This is in reference to enclosed cargo trailers, trailers with special equipment, and the like, when certain specialized construction is being done. These construction vehicles may be parked only when construction is being done at the residence. If extended work is required, the vehicles must be moved out for the weekends.
   (C)   Those vehicles making deliveries or picking up goods or persons shall park within 50 feet of the site of the delivery or pick up point and shall not remain stopped for more than two hours. By way of example, oversize vehicles shall include, but are not limited to, the following types of vehicles:
      (1)   Camper/trailer.
      (2)   Motor home.
      (3)   Dump truck.
      (4)   Car carrier.
      (5)   Semi-tractor, with or without trailer, box and tanker.
      (6)   Semi-trailer, including box, tanker and flat bed trailers.
      (7)   Construction equipment.
      (8)   Garbage truck.
      (9)   Dumpster truck.
      (10)   Ready-mix truck.
      (11)   Snowmobile trailer.
      (12)   Boat on trailer.
      (13)   Utility trailer.
      (14)   Agricultural equipment.
      (15)   Bus.
      (16)   Livestock trailer.
   (D)   This restriction shall not apply to a vehicle parked as a result of an unavoidable emergency.
   (E)   This restriction shall not apply to campers/trailers and motor homes parked for no more than 24 hours only for the purpose of loading and unloading, provided it does not interfere with the flow of traffic. Such vehicles shall not, however, be attached to an electrical outlet or a water tap while loading or unloading.
   (F)   This section may be enforced by removing the offending vehicle pursuant to § 73.16 and imposing penalties provided in § 73.99.
