The Code of Building Regulations for 1 to 3 Family Dwellings Only, adopted by the Wood County Commissioners, and adopted by the City in Section 1420.01, is hereby amended to provide that such Code shall govern all erections and alterations of buildings within the corporate limits of the City from and after June 30, 1965, as provided in a certain Resolution of the Wood County Commissioners duly adopted by them on June 6, 1965, a copy of which Resolution is now and shall be at all times hereafter kept on file for public inspection in the office of the Municipal Clerk. However, such amendment shall have no application to any building the erection or alteration of which was authorized by a permit duly issued prior to June 30, 1965, if such construction was timely commenced.
The Municipal Clerk shall notify the Board of County Commissioners and their Building Inspector of the passage of this section and furnish each with a copy thereof.
The Mayor and the Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into any agreement that may be necessary to supplement the agreement made pursuant to Section 1420.02 by reason of the amendment provided for in this section.
