The Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the Wood County Commissioners for the services of the Commissioners' Department of Building Inspection to administer and enforce the Code of Building Regulations within the corporate limits of the City pursuant to the provisions of new Section 103 of Title I thereof. The contract shall provide that such services are to be performed without cost to the City, but that the Commissioners shall be reimbursed wholly from the fees collected from owners and builders. Such contract shall further provide that it shall be effective from a date certain as therein set forth until this chapter or the Building Code is repealed by Council or until the contract is cancelled. Such contract shall be subject to cancellation at any time by either party upon thirty days written notice to the other. The contract shall contain such other provisions as the Mayor may deem necessary or advisable to protect the interests of the City. (Ord. 33-63. Passed 12-10-63.)
