(A) All trenches caused by the construction of sewers, water mains, water service pipes, and in excavation around catch basins, manholes, inlets and other appurtenances which occur within the limits of existing or proposed pavements, sidewalks and curb and gutters shall be backfilled with trench backfill.
(B) Trench backfill, as defined in § 210 of the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, shall be used under and adjacent to all paved surfaces, including sidewalks and parking lots.
