§ 154.005 JURISDICTION.
   (A)   In accordance with the authority vested in this municipality under the provisions of the Revised Cities and Villages Act of the State of Illinois, the village shall have jurisdiction over the control of all subdivision and platting of land located within the corporate limits of the village and in contiguous territory outside of and distant not more than 1½ miles from the corporate limits, and not included in any city, village, or incorporated town; and shall have authority to approve the vacation of subdivisions, streets, and alleys within the stated limits of jurisdiction. When the boundaries of another municipality are located within three miles or less from the corporate limits of this municipality, the jurisdiction of these provisions shall extend to a point midway between.
   (B)   Under all circumstances, subdivisions in the contiguous unincorporated areas shall conform to the provisions of the Will County Zoning Ordinances as pertains to minimum lot sizes and area.
   (C)   All lands offered for use as streets, highways, alleys, parks, and other public uses, shall be referred to the Plan Commission of the village for review and recommendation before being accepted by the Village Board of Trustees or by any other governing authority.
