It shall be unlawful for any person to impersonate without lawful authority any village officer or employee.

A person who knowingly resists or obstructs the performance by one known to the person to be a peace officer of any authorized act within his or her official capacity commits an offense.

Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $750 for each offense. Except when fines and costs are paid by authorized compromise payment prior to court, the Circuit Clerk shall add to the fine any and all costs and fees upon an authorized disposition.
