(A) It shall be lawful to operate or carry on the business of junk dealer or to keep any junk shop, store, yard, or place for the purpose or sale of junk, rags, old rope, paper or bagging, old iron, brass, copper, or empty bottles, or junk cars, without having obtained a license therefor as is provided in this subchapter.

(B) The fee to be paid for such licenses shall be $50 for an annual license.
