§ 71.23 TRUCKS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS.
   It shall be unlawful to drive any motor vehicle with a weight in excess of eight tons upon any street of the village which has a duly posted traffic sign prohibiting the aforesaid trucks; provided, however, truck with a weight in excess shall be allowed to operate upon such streets when in the course of a delivery and then for one block only. Nothing in this section shall be construed to allow a motor vehicle to operate in violation of § 71.30 of this code or any other provision of the Illinois Motor Vehicle Code upon a street of the village.
