The Village Collector shall, no later than 48 hours after the receipt thereof, deposit into the properly authorized bank account of the village all monies collected by her from any source whatsoever, taking such bank's deposit ticket or receipt, in duplicate, therefor, one of which receipts she shall file with the Village Treasurer. The Village Collector is expressly prohibited from keeping the monies of the village in her hands or in the hands of any person or corporation to her use beyond the time which is hereby prescribed for the deposit of the same in the proper bank to the credit of the village.
