A chief plant operator shall be employed by the village whose duty it shall be to have charge of the wastewater treatment plant and pumping stations under the direction of the Superintendent. The plant operator shall be certified with proper classification, and have at least three years of mechanical, chemical or like experience. The plant operator shall be selected by the Superintendent and his contract of employment and salary shall be subject to approval of the President and Board of Trustees.
