9-2-1-2: AMENDMENTS TO CODES:
   A.   International Residential Code: The following sections of the international residential code, 2018 edition, are hereby revised as follows:
      Section R101.1. Insert: Village of Peoria Heights.
      Section R105.3.1. Insert: If the applicant, or any of its officers, directors, members, or partners in the case of a business applicant, is in violation of any provision of the village code except for a violation of the provisions of Title 6 (Police and Public Safety) or Title 7 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic) at the time the application is filed, or has any outstanding fine, penalty, tax, or other debt due and owing to the village at the time the application is filed, the building official shall reject such application in writing stating the reasons therefor.
      Section R108.2. Replace “as established by the applicable governing authority”: The schedule of permit fees as set forth in section 9-2-2 of the village code is adopted as a part of this Section R113.4. Replace “prescribed by law”: provided in section 1-4-1 of the village code plus costs. Each day a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
      Section R114.2. Replace “be subject to penalties as prescribed by law”: upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of the village code plus costs. Each day a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
      Section R301.2(1). Delete.
      Section R313. Delete.
      Section P2603.5.1. Replace: “Building sewers that connect to private sewage disposal systems shall be installed as required by the appropriate authority having jurisdiction.
   B.   International Building Code: The following sections of the international building code, 2018 edition, are hereby revised as follows:
      Section 101.1. Insert: Village of Peoria Heights.
      Section 105.3.1.    C.   National Electrical Code: The following sections of the national electrical code, 2014 edition, are hereby revised as follows:
      Section 80.19(C). Insert: If the applicant, or any of its officers, directors, members, or partners in the case of a business applicant, is in violation of any provision of the village code except for a violation of the provisions of Title 6 (Police and Public Safety) or Title 7 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic) at the time the application is filed, or has any outstanding fine, penalty, tax, or other debt due and owing to the village at the time the application is filed, the authority having jurisdiction shall reject such application in writing stating the reasons therefor.
      Section 80.19(E). Replace: The schedule of fees as set out in section 9-2-2 of the village code is adopted as a part of this article.
      Section 80.23(B)(3). Replace: Any person who shall violate any of the applicable provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of the village code for each offense, together with applicable costs. Each day a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
   D.   International mechanical code: The following sections of the international mechanical code, 2018 edition, are hereby revised as follows:
      Section 101.1. Insert: Village of Peoria Heights.
      Section 106.5.2. Delete.
      Section 106.5.3. Insert: 50% and 25%.
      Section 108.4. Replace: Persons who violate a provision of this code or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, install, alter or repair mechanical work in violation of the approved construction documents or directive of the code official, or of a permit or certificate issued under the provisions of this code, shall be punished by a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of the village code for each offense, together with applicable costs. Each day a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
      Section 108.5. Insert: $100.00 and $750.00.
   E.   International property maintenance code: The following sections of the international property maintenance code, 2018 edition, are hereby revised as follows:
      Section 101.1. Insert: Village of Peoria Heights.
      Section 103.5. Delete.
      Section 112.4. Insert: $100.00 and $750.00.
      Section 302.4. Insert: ten (10) inches in height.
      Section 304.14. Insert: March 1 and December 1.
      Section 602.3. Insert: October 15 and April 15.
