15.04.010: ADOPTION BY REFERENCE:
The approved editions of the following codes as adopted by the State of Idaho are adopted as the official building codes of the City of Payette:
   A.   International Building Code: The international building code, 2018 edition, prepared by the International Code Council, Inc., as adopted by the state of Idaho or the Idaho building code board, together with any amendments or revisions to the International Building Code made by the Idaho Building Code Board through the negotiated rulemaking process, is adopted.
   B.   Idaho Residential Code: The Idaho residential code, 2020 edition, as adopted by the state of Idaho or the Idaho building code board, consisting of the 2018 International Residential Code prepared by the International Code Council, Inc. and amended by the Idaho building code board through the negotiated rulemaking process, is adopted.
   C.   The international fire code.
   D.   Idaho Energy Conservation Code: The Idaho energy conservation code, 2020 edition, as adopted by the state of Idaho Building Code Board, consisting of the 2018 International Energy Conservation Code prepared by the International Code Council, Inc. and amended by the Idaho Building Code Board through the negotiated rulemaking process, is adopted in summary form allowed by Idaho Code.
      The adopted versions of the foregoing codes shall be deemed superseded by successive versions of such codes as they are adopted by the Idaho building code board effective on the date any such codes are made effective by the Idaho building code board.
   E.   Idaho Existing Building Code: The Idaho existing building code, 2018 edition, as adopted by the state of Idaho building code board, consisting of the 2018 International Existing Building Code prepared by the International Code Council, Inc. and amended by the Idaho Building Code Board through the negotiated rulemaking process, is adopted.
   F.   The uniform code for abatement of dangerous buildings.
   G.   The Idaho standards for public works construction, which may be referred to as the ISPWC for short, in their current edition, and all future editions as they may become available.
   H.   Agricultural buildings are exempt from the building codes adopted herein but shall remain subject to placement requirements established by zoning regulations. (Ord. 1485, 2020: Ord. 1338, 2011)
