It is unlawful for any person to discharge any firearm, paintball gun, or air gun within the city limits, except in the necessary defense of life, person or property or when rendered necessary when making an arrest. It shall be lawful to discharge a firearm, paintball gun or air gun in a building or facility that has been used as an indoor firing range prior to the adoption of this section.
