3-3-7: ISSUANCE AND EXHIBITION OF LICENSE:
   A.   Subject to section 3-3-8 of this chapter and the satisfaction of all requirements by the applicant, the chief shall endorse his approval on the application and forward such approval to the city clerk, who shall deliver the required license and identification card to the applicant.
   B.   Licensees shall not allow their license or identification card to be used by any other person for any purpose. Licenses shall be nontransferable and nonassignable.
   C.   The license or identification card shall show the name, business and photograph of the licensee, the kind of goods or services to be sold or delivered, the date of issuance, and the length of time that the license shall be in effect.
   D.   A record of all licenses issued shall be maintained by the city clerk for a period of two (2) years.
   E.   The license and identification card required by this chapter shall be carried at all times by the person to whom it is issued when such person is peddling or soliciting in the city and shall be exhibited by said peddler or solicitor when requested to do so by any prospective customer or law enforcement officer.
