No person shall undertake, either individually or with or for another, to install, reinstall, repair, replace in whole or in part, reset, reassemble, move, alter or convert any proposed or existing gravity warm air heating system, or any warm air air-conditioning or mechanical system, or to install any type of conversion burner in any warm air heating system, or to install a ceiling-suspended unit heater or any part thereof, unless such person or at least one member of the firm, copartnership, corporation, association of any combination thereof in each branch office, sales agency, shop or the like operated by the person, firm, copartnership, corporation, association of any combination thereof, having full authority to represent and act for the same in all matters regulated by these Regulations, has been duly registered by the Building Commissioner to perform such work in compliance with these Regulations. Applicants for registration to engage in or work at the trade, occupation or business of a warm air heating contractor shall apply for registration at the office of the Commissioner and make application for such registration on forms provided by the Commissioner.
