(a) It shall be the duty of the Building Commissioner and his regularly authorized assistants to inspect all warm air furnaces, conversion burners in warm air heating units and ceiling gas-fired heaters installed or constructed.
(b) Inspection of new work shall be made as follows. When such work has progressed to where the stacks to upper floors and heads for all registers have been installed and boots have been connected, the contractor for this work shall notify the Commissioner who shall make or cause to be made an inspection of the work. Upon finding that the work complies with terms of these Regulations in all respects, there shall be affixed by the Inspector or his representative, to each stack or register head, a label stating that the workmanship and materials comply with the requirements of these Regulations.
