The Heating and Ventilating Regulations shall govern and regulate the installation or replacement, or both, of all steam and hot water heating, of all gravity warm air heating systems and all warm air air- conditioned or blower-type warm air heating systems. They shall also regulate the installation of all conversion burners in warm air heating systems and the installation of gas-fired ceiling-suspended unit heaters in the City. In case of alterations to existing systems, these Regulations shall be construed to apply to the new work and materials only. The Building Commissioner shall be charged with enforcement of these Regulations but nothing herein contained shall be deemed to relieve any other officer or employee of the duty of enforcing the ordinances of the City.
